Privacy Policy
Privio is a secure personal information manager built with an offline-first architecture — your passwords, secure notes, IDs, and cards stay on your own device, and nothing is exported unless you explicitly choose to create a backup. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and we never sell your data to anyone.
What we collect — and what we don't
Privio does not require an account. Your privacy is the foundation of the app, and its offline-first design means your personal information stays on your own device unless you explicitly export a backup.

We do not operate servers that receive your stored information, so Privio cannot misuse data it never receives.
How your data is used

Your data is not used for advertising, profiling, or marketing — and since it never reaches us, it could not be.
Data stored on your device
All information you save inside Privio remains on your own device. Your passwords, secure notes, IDs, cards, settings, and other stored information are saved locally — Privio does not automatically upload, synchronize, or transmit your data over the internet.
Security
Privio is designed to help protect your information by storing it securely on your device. Security features include:
Restricts access to the app itself.
Handled entirely by your device's operating system. Privio never receives or stores your fingerprint or facial recognition data.
Your vault data is encrypted on your device.
Created only when you explicitly request them — see Section 05.
Backup & restore
Privio allows you to create encrypted backup files. Backups are created only when you explicitly request them. Backup files remain under your control, are stored in the location you choose, and are protected using the backup password you provide.
Because backup encryption is designed to protect your privacy, Privio cannot recover forgotten backup passwords or decrypt your backups for you. You are responsible for safely storing both your backup file and its password.
Permissions
Privio requests only the access required for features you actively use:

Privio accesses only the files you explicitly select. It does not scan your device or access unrelated files.
Developer Mode
Developer Mode is intended for advanced users and developers. When enabled, additional utilities such as hashing and encryption become available. These tools perform all processing locally on your device. No information processed by Developer Mode is transmitted to Vibhutix or any third party.
Data sharing
Privio does not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information. Your stored data is never transmitted to Vibhutix. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, marketing, or analytics.
Third-party services
Privio does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or user tracking services. The application relies only on operating system services necessary for functionality, such as the Android or iOS system file picker and biometric authentication (if enabled). These services are provided by your device's operating system and are subject to the privacy policies of Google or Apple.
Children's privacy
Privio is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Privio operates locally and does not require user accounts, we do not intentionally collect information from users of any age.
Data retention
All information remains on your device until you choose to remove it. You may delete individual entries at any time. Uninstalling the application or deleting its local data permanently removes your stored information unless you have created your own backup.
Your responsibility
Because Privio is an offline-first application:
You are responsible for remembering your App Lock credentials.
You are responsible for remembering your backup password.
You are responsible for safely storing backup files.
Lost backup passwords cannot be recovered.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect new features, legal requirements, or improvements to Privio. The latest version will always be made available through the application and official distribution channels.
